January - Hot Chocolate

Welcome back to AirVape'sAirVape's Recipe of the Month.

Our January recipe is a classic hot chocolate, the best drink to have any time on chilly days.

Don't let your grandma know you are changing her hot chocolate recipe; we are about to show you the simplest and quickest way you can use the extra AVB you have stored!

Chocolate is originated from cocoa seeds, known for a long time for its benefits of improving humor and boosting energy.

The hot chocolate was one of the first recipes coming out of chocolate.

Nowadays, it is so popular that it serves in multiple variations all over the globe, traditionally appreciated in winterly weather.

If AVB is new to you and not quite sure what it is or how to save and use it, go check out our AVB guide.

You can find the basics, some nifty tricks' tricks' n tips on how to get the most out of your already vaped bud. Also, you can find previous recipes here.

Note: While you are going through our AVB Guide, you can also find tips on how to water cure your AVB (takes away the strong scent of weed) or make cannabutter (you can use it for cooking). Make sure you check that out.

 Hot Chocolate

The right dose of AVB to you is something to be considered before you adventure yourself in the kitchen.

The best amount varies from person to person, depending on how sensitive cannabinoids are to your body.

At lower doses of AVB, the drink will have primarily chocolate taste. As well as, higher doses will make you increasingly feel the residual taste of buds.

You can feel the effects from the drink after 20 minutes on smaller doses, and If you are generous on your AVB, you may still feel the remaining effects after hours!

0.5g per cup is a dose to start. If you are used to AVB, you can progress to 1.2g-1.5g and see how it goes. Start slow and observe yourself!

Materials:

Thermos

Pan

Mug

Cheesecloth or coffee filter

Weed grinder

Ingredients:

1 serving

  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • AVB (depending on your tolerance, 0.5g – 1.5g per cup)
  • Your favorite premade packet of hot chocolate mix

Note: AVB works great with fat, so we use whole milk in this recipe. If you are not a fan of dairy, make sure you choose fatty vegetable milk to get your dose of cannabinoids right.

  1. Grind your AVB as finely as possible to get the most cannabinoids out of it. Reserve.
  2. Put milk into the pan and warm it until it gives the first signs of boiling.
  3. Pour the bud into the thermos, following the warm milk. Close the thermos.
  4. Let it sit for 25 mins, agitate every 30 seconds for five seconds
  5. Strain the milk into your coffee cup or mug using the cheesecloth or coffee filter.
  6. Add the hot chocolate mix and stir.

It is important to remember that your body needs fat/oil to metabolize THC efficiently.

Topping it up with whipped cream and chocolate powder would be a suitable alternative for better results.

Don't forget to be cautious with your AVB dose!

We hope this super easy recipe was helpful. Cheers!
