Having a second mouthpiece was essential for me in order to keep a
clear responsive draw on the airvape x.
The only problems I have with the airvape x so far are:
Limited written instructions. I would rather read instructions than watch a video. It’s usually faster.
It would be useful to have a tool to more efficiently pack the the airvape. That way it doesn’t clog so readily.

I'm so glad I ordered a replacement mouthpiece for the AirVape X. The one that came with it had very little airflow regardless of how many times I cleaned it. Using a pin to do a more thorough cleaning revealed that about half of the holes in the ceramic piece were undersized or blocked and that was the problem. I ordered a replacement and it's like night and day.
I've been meaning to report this as a quality issue, but I guess a few bad ones can easily slip through even the best inspection process. It would have been to not have to pay for a replacement and shipping, but at least now I know why these vapes are so popular. If the airflow on yours seems especially weak, check the ceramic piece for all the holes being open.
The only other issue with the AirVape X is the battery life is so short. I end up charging it at least every other day. At some point I may trade up to the Legacy model for both the longer path via the glass tube and the extended battery life.

Having a secondary piece is extremely convenient to say the least! When one gets too clogged/gummed up, just drop it in your solution of choice and rotate your backup and you're good to go! You never have to be in a holding pattern again!
