What is CBD?
CBD is abbreviated for cannabidiol. The Cannabis Plant is made up to 40% of the natural occurring cannabinoid compound.
There are multiple compounds found in this plant, another known as THC.
One of the best methods of consumption of the cannabis plant is by vaporizing which is eliminating 90% of the smoke, allowing the aroma and flavors to escape without relying on combustion.

The difference between CBD and THC?
THC is psychoactive, alters the mind, while CBD does not. This is due to how each compound interacts with the CB1 receptors, related to the brain and central nervous system.
Even though both compounds are found in the same plant, the difference is that THC binds high, matching perfectly to connect with CB1 receptors, while CBD binds low. Since CBD does not have any psychoactive properties, one can not get "high" by consuming CBD.
As Project CBD co-founder Martin Lee once wrote: “CBD opposes the action of THC at the CB1 receptor, thereby muting the psychoactive effects of THC.”
