Welcome back to AirVape’s Recipe of the Month. Our February recipe is a treat to impress your partner on Valentine’s day! Pesto salad, pasta, risotto, toast, wrap or pizza: imagine all the possibilities you can explore having some AVB pesto, from starter to main course. Let’s dive into learning how to make this masterpiece.
Pesto is a recipe originated in North Italy with a background from the 13th century. The original recipe is made with olive oil, garlic, basil and cheese crushed slow and manually. This is our favorite adapted version that can also be consumed by (stoned) vegans.
If AVB is new to you and not quite sure what is it, or how to save and use it, go ahead and check out our AVB guide. You can find the basics and some cool tricks and tips on how to get the most out of your already vaped bud. Also, you can find previous recipes here.
Note: While you are going through our AVB Guide, you can also find tips, how to water cure your AVB (takes away the strong scent of weed) or how to make cannabutter (you can use it for cooking), so make sure you check that out.
For those who are not a big fan of the taste of AVB, you will love this recipe. The savoury taste of Pesto reduces the residual taste of AVB! Read on!
Food processor or blender
- 6 oz fresh spinach
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp AVB (depending on your tolerance)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 3/4 to 1 cup olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Combine the spinach, walnuts, lemon juice, AVB, oregano and thyme in a food processor until you make a puree.
- Add the oil in a stream and continue to puree.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Be creative with your decoration, fresh leaves or a whole walnut look good on top.
You and you alone will be able to define how much AVB you need for your experience.
The strength of AVB on one person’s body varies depending on the strain of the raw bud, grind size, temperature of the heating element during vaporization, and, of course, depends on how sensitive it’s metabolism works for cannabinoids.
Our AVB pesto hides quite well the taste of your herb. Just remember that the more AVB you add to your recipe, the more taste of it you will have! Don’t overdose your AVB and enjoy your day!
